WFH HH D219 / New Beers Day 55 / BA Wed W8: Pours deep brown with a massive head and cocoa nose. Rich, chocolatey start leads seamlessly to a full, sweet, boozy body. Finishes strong with maple, bourbon and woody notes from barrel aging. Awesome!

This is pretty good. Subtle coffee with lots of fudgy goodness. Glad I have another bottle. As always, thanks Andy K.

Just keeps getting better with age if you like sweet stouts. Maple still noticable and strong chocolate fudge presence.

This was a fantastic beer especially when paired with a glass of Bulleit bourbon.

Rich & decadent. Tons of chocolate/fudge, a nice dose of coffee & a hint of maple. A dessert stout, but not cloying like many. (

Great beer! Not quite as good as the original but a step up from the Espresso version. Very good.

Smooth, balanced and fine tuned the typical Founders way, also meaning bit careful and heldback. Surprisingly enough the fudge coffee and maple syrup accentuate the chocolate, making it rich in cocoa notes. Very tasty, with a light candy vibe.
