Lovely thick stout with loaded of fresh, mild coffee (FRESH POOOOOT), dark caramel fudge, semi-sweet maple and medium roasted and charred wood. Was hoping for a CBS, but still a solid flavoured stout. Better than old KBS

Really pastry heavy. Chocolate mocha fudge. That works well, but there’s a too heavy coffee presence. I actually get more coffee than the original somehow. I like the original better

Dinner didn’t turn out perfectly right so I’m making myself feel better. Stupid cast iron pan.

Goede stout, overduidelijke maple/chocolademaak en een beetje de fudge, maar niet te zoet.

Expected a bit more. I don't get barrel, maple is muted, chocolate is very pronounced and it's good. Overall, it's good, not great.

First you taste the booziness and bourbon from the barrel. The finish is where you get the sweetness of the chocolate. And also what keeps you sipping. The bourbon taste is not overbearing, so it works well with the chocolate

Begint met sterke tonen van koffie en pure chocolade maar naarmate het bier op temperatuur komt wordt de maple syrup duidelijk herkenbaar en zorgt voor een mooi gebalanceerd bier

Ruim 8,- voor een flesje en opzich goed te drinken met mooie volle smaken!

Would have expected more maple from founders. Just as good as regular. Perhaps more rich
