Next to no barrel, disappointing. Super sweet like a cold coffee.

Mocha latte aroma. Taste is chocolate truffles with dark roast coffee finish. Coffee not ashy or like green peppers, which is a big improvement. Don't get maple or bourbon, but that's ok. Body is fluffy and full. More coffee as it warms. Best KBS in years

Coffee nose. Deep chocolate fudge flavor. Pronounced coffee with a bit of maple. What is missing is the actual body to the beer. It’s just thin.

Can't touch the original, but still pretty good. I like stouts, I like bourbon, I like maple, and I like chocolate. But putting them all together is a little too much. Like a fusion restaurant that goes a step too far.

Better at room temp, started with it cold and got nothing but coffee, other flavors jumped out as it warmed up

I really, really wanted to like this one - I get the chocolate/coffee forward, with a hint of the maple sweetness, but there is a finish I am not fond of and don’t really care for... I think any of the BA MT Monsters Park stouts are far more balanced...

After I was told, I could smell the fudge and maple. Otherwise tasting crushed espresso beans and cold brew vibes

Not a ton of maple or heat and for me isn’t close to CBS. It’s fine and has some decent deep chocolate to it, but it’s just not in the same ballpark as the base KBS from past years or the recently 86’ed CBS

High expectations met! Full, rich flavor. Smells like fudge - good fudge.

Strong chocolate flavor, would not guess it that high percentage.....a little too much coffee flavor or it would have been higher
