Very soft, nice cinnamon and walnut, but it's lacking the punch and depth I'm used to from LPK. Pretty disappointing finish though, it fades extremely fast for an LPK.

Jammy, huge cinnamon and walnut notes, perfect acidity.

LCI ~3 year sample from vat 31. Really well developed, would make for another great mono blend. Thanks Frank and Karel!

Very well carbed and still light color. A bit dusty but little sign of oxidation. Lots of funk. Still some brightness. Held up amazingly well!

Raw beetroot flavors are mellowing. I think this might be perfect in a few years

Slightly better after a year, still not a fan though. I'll wait for the citrus to drop off in years to come

Zwanze 2022 - Poivre de Gorilles
Strong herbal pepper notes but without any zing or bite. Really nice lambic base. Will be interesting to see how this develops

Alright nice, this will be a very good batch once it carbonates and conditions over the coming weeks

I'm guessing the whisky barrels were initially sherry cask, really nice complex oxidative and fruit notes from the barrels.

Still lactic and one dimensional. Hopefully it ages into something

2-Year Unblended Oude Lambiek Foeder #82
Fantastic nose, but too watery on the palate. Pleasant and funky though

Honestly don't remember this much from Quintessence, one of the main reasons I'm not a big fan of big tastings anymore. Nothing like enjoy just one or a few beers in a sitting/day. Really enjoying this full bottle.

The baseline for the new releases, a beautiful and soft 2 year old vat. I love it.

From Quintessence. Still enjoyable, but definitely showing it's age. Very cool to try the first batch though
