Was a little sweet as expected. Nicely balanced. KBS is always $$$.

Poured a thick black with a sliver of dark tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate brownie. Flavor of boozy baking chocolate with just a hint of maple sweetness and cherry. The booziness warms the throat all the way down.

Had er iets meer van verwacht, had meer maple verwacht en hij mocht wat romiger aanvoelen vond ik. Te verwend zeker 😋

Coffee & fudge are dominant. I'm not getting any maple or barrel but still very good.

Very rich, a bit boozy, port-ish, caramel, coffee, maple syrup, chocolate. Moderately bitter. Nice, but too sweet.

Deilig lukt av sjokolade. Smaker sjokolade, bourbon og kaffi. Nøytral middels alkopreg. Mangler litt fylde synes jeg, noe som trekker litt ned. Men founders leverer igjen.

Wow. Yes I taste the chocolate and the bourbon barrel. Strong, dark and syrupy. I don’t remember who gave this to me, but thanks!

Nicely complex instead of cloying. Deep fudge flavors, hints of maple syrup and espresso. Very faint trace of woody vanilla from barrels, tiny amount of alcohol heat.

Definitely going big now. Nice balance of chocolate fudge and bourbon. Not as boozy as I expected. Maybe it’s the day - who knows? A little disappointed in the lack of maple flavor though. Thanks again Ryan for this one!

Smooth, lots of coffee, maybe overdoing it a bit, slight bourbon afterburner. Very good, but I'm not over the moon.

Volle bak geroosterde koffie met wat zoetige tonen van de Maple syrup maar verder dan dat verschilt die niet veel van de breakfast stout. Als in de chocolade, kleine laag bourbon zijn te vinden maar niet heel aanwezig

This beer is heavy and absurdly sweet. The sweetness and chocolate notes overwhelm a certain subtle complexity coming from its KBS roots. Frankly, the sweetness is good, and probably great for folks who like that... But I'm not one of those.

I got this against my better judgement. Not a KBS fan, but it sounded intriguing and Dean B. said it was better than the original... I agree... OHHHH FFFFUUUUUUDDDGE!!!... Only I never say fudge 😜

Again another great stout but the Maple Mackinac Fudge flavor would leave me drinking it as a one and done beer. Kinda like a dessert beer. Tasty though.

Heerlijk vloeibaar chocolade toetje, wel aan de zoete kant = logisch met die fudge erdoor. Als je van zoet, choco, koffie en karamel houdt, zit je geramd!
