Good aroma of chocolate, coffee and maple. Flavour follows the aroma - lots of chocolate, coffee. Sweetness from maple balances iout. Mouthfeel slightly syrupy. Don’t quite get the barrel aged, nonetheless still a great one with its rich flavours.

This early rainy season must be over soon, and this must surely be my last big stout for a few months. It probably says a lot that I think this is my favourite KBS yet, but I can't score it above four. A nice chocolate-coffee note that could yet be more?

3.9⭐ Just overall basic and nothing marvelous in this.Maybe i should drink it fresh 🤷♂️

Coffee, cocoa, maple, vanilla, roast nose. Cocoa, coffee, roast, maple, dark fruit. Aroma outshines the flavor, but better than normal KBS. Decent balance for the style. Touch of watery bourbon in the finish. Dark chocolate bitterness.

Tastes just like a boozier Young's double chocolate stout. Yummy and not nearly as overly sweet as I expected

Rich chocolatey aroma (like a chocolate layer cake) w/hints of coffee. Intense layers of chocolate flavor up front transitioning into notes of coffee & booze. Light bourbon notes in mid-palate. Pick a flavor & go over-the-top seems to be Founders thing 🤦

A little sweet by the end, but I suppose if you put maple and fudge in the name that better be the case. Lots of flavor here.
