Outstanding variant! Very balanced. Maple syrup, java, oak, chocolate and fudgy mouthfeel. Not terribly boozy.

It just doesn’t get much better than this with a BA stout friends!! This is a bad ass beer!! Founders hit it outta the park with this KBS version, maple, chocolaty, and as Ray Barone would say…..”FUDGY”!!!…😉🍻🍺

The coffee and maple offset the maple well. Still a touch sweet but good.

Unimpressive stout. Not detecting any barrel aging. A bit thin for something in this ABV range. Although the flavor is pretty nice with chocolate and maple notes.

Smells like a Canadian breakfast but the flavor is a bit more reserved. Nicely balanced with enough barrel character to keep it from being cloying.

this is awesome! all of the notes are prominent - maple syrup on the middle of the tongue, it’s awesome! cocoa BOMB!! delicious & viscous! also getting some coffee notes. dark, roasty, toasty, oaky, delish

2022 release - very roasty and tastes like a typical KBS. Missing the maple it’s and very little fudge notes.

Gets better as it warms a little. Like when fudge or chocolate gets soft and melty.
