Hefty bitter chocolate flavor, dark roasted coffee,… maple seems to evade my palate

Maple is missing on this one, but I'm loving the bitter cacao. This is delicious....very smooth.

My favorite of the KBS variants so far. Aging for a hair over a year narrowed it down to sweet chocolate, a little coffee bitterness, and bourbon. Great new or old.

Legit as fuck. Like drinking a bourbon soaked brownie. I might need to bust out a CBS now.

Yum! I was expecting it to be a bit heavier, but it's lovely, rich and annoyingly I needed to share it

Ok. The year+ that this has aged in my fridge has only helped. The fudge has really become the focus- not the maple, not the barrel aging. This is a phenomenal beer.

It’s been over a year since I last checked this in. Still a great dessert beer and a nice reminder of the Peterson wedding way back in 2020.

Full bodied, sweet and smooth feel. Sweet maple syrup upfront. As that sweetness settles, roasted espresso beans and oaky notes starts to take it’s place. Chocolate sauce, vanilla, walnuts and some bourbon. Sweet finish with roasted cocoa bitterness.

В аромате прям какая-то кондитерка, без алкашки вообще. На послевкусии уже узнаваемая бурбоновая бочка, шоколад и отличная от KBS, наверное более яркая, кофейная горчинка. Без оргазма, но в целом годно. Фаундерс, хуле.
