Fine freshness, massive body. Pungent taste of bourbon, coffee and a bit of cocoa.

OG score stands. Last of this beer, which I at one time had a couple of cases of (varying vintages). 🫡 It used to be a favorite, but Founders fell off my radar years ago. #cellarclearing

This is drinking amazing right now, if you have any 2017 bottles.

Smooth. Boozy. Bourbon. Sweet. Malty. Stone fruit. Well balanced, notes of caramel. Very nice.

Picking up way more smokey, oakly, spice notes than the old malty sweetness from original years. Can’t say aging didn’t help or hurt, but definitely changed the profile from malty to smoked/ oaky

Almost as if a stout fused with a saison. The note that stands out to me with the nose, is a dry, hard cheese. Palette breaks cleans like a light stout.

2017 drank Jan 2024. Probably didn't age well - bland.

Pulling this out if the cellar tonight. PKG 9.29.17. May have lost some of its aroma and punch, but still pretty awesome.
