Saturday night special. Aged 4.5ish years. More or less same as it ever was. Simialr to last sniff in 2022 wit more plum n quad vibes dis time, oakey heat has settled down but nothin a snort of Ol' Fitz can't bring back to life.

Biiig! Massive molasses sweetness, backed up with a complex mashup of woody tannins, dark dried fruits and maple. A warm booziness creeps up at the back end to seal the deal. A sipper for sure, but very enjoyable if you take your time with it.

Drinking pretty damn good after almost 5 years. Not as boozy and more tame. Still pretty sweet. Marshmallow. Caramel. Maple. Molasses. Maybe the faintest dates. Wish I had a couple more bottles.

Absolutely wonderful old ale that has aged brilliantly. Sweet malts, maple and sophisticated barrel flavors. Squirming centipedes. 43/50

2018 bottle from ye olde beer stash. Still fantastic! Hint of maple, brandy note, hop is a little sharp. Aged well
