Sweetness balances the old-ness of the beer. Not bad but probably wouldn't have another. 3.6

Not sure of the year but it definitely has a few under it’s belt. Still quite good. Sweet molasses and only a tiny bit of oxidation. So, nicely holding up well. My first time having it. Thanks Mike!

Really kick a$$ molasses flavor... with a little maple to boot. 😁 And... at 12.7%... it’s a kicker.

Drinking Cold is not too awesome, once I drank it at room temp, it became a really good beer

It does taste a bit like pancakes and syrup, but it's too sharp. I probably wouldn't buy this one although I respect it.

Good barleywine color. Sweet aroma, very sweet malty taste. Maple, bourbon comes thru nicely.

Three year old bottle - better than the one I tried fresh for sure. A bit more smooth and blended but still overly sweet from the molasses.

First time having Old Ale and dang...it's a kick in the flavor bumps. It makes me think of dessert sherry...very sweet and kind of raisiny.

Harsh boozy flavor and not blended well w molasses and maple syrup. Just not smooth.

Geur van barleywine. In de smaak zit duidelijk maple syrup. Caramel en mout.
