Smooth mouthfeel. Dark roast coffee & bourbon are most prominent. Notes of bittersweet chocolate & subtle maple add to the complexity. Aging mellowed this out quite a bit. Really nice cellar-raid nightcap.

Aged 5+ years and this beer is close to perfection. Incredibly smooth. I think the excessive syrup flavor has been mitigated. So good.

Six years in the basement and this one has gotten even better. Chocolate candy in a bottle. Bonus, it was half price back then.

Its now 6 years old, wow, still very full bodied, sweetness from the maplesyrup. Just one of the best beers in the world.....
