Laissée réchauffer une bonne heure, et je crois que c'est la chose à faire avec cette bière qui madérise lentement mais sûrement. La chaleur fait ressortir le sirop d'érable et le sucre. Elle en a encore à donner!

I’ve heard this doesn’t age too well, so I can’t imagine what it’s like fresh because this is just phenomenal. A beautiful, beautiful drink in which I will take my sweet time on. Medium body, not much maple sadly but lots of coffee, dark choc and bourbon

This one foamed at open and is a bit off. Not terrible.

sweet chocolate, coffee with a slight bitterness, and smooth bourbon with a bit of oak. The maple comes on at the end, but pretty mellow.

3 years on it has aged nicely. Sweetness is reduced which makes the coffee and chocolate protrude better. Killer stout

The maple sweetness helped balance out the roastiness from the coffee. For 3+ years old this is holding up well. Thanks DrY

Following an at times excruciating day on the taps, a specially reserved treat is in order. Since I’ve been gifted with a (somewhat) unseasonably coolish night, this bourbon soaked stroke of gorgeous is most welcome.

Raided the beer stash in the burbs and pulled out some stouts. This is still delicious, but definitely more melded, muted, and tamed on the maple now.

I'm not always sold on these big beers, but this was very mellow. Well balanced, perhaps the cellering helped, and without any sharp booziness. Well done.
