It’s 2023 and I found a 2017 CBS. It is fantastic. Boozy and chewy. Coffee and sweet.

I was worried this wouldn't age well. Great for 6 years old. Roasty coffee, chocolatey, maple, bourbon.

One of the highlights of the tasting at The Jeffrey. Only the 2018 CBS was better. Chocolate, coffee, maple, bourbon. A real classic.

Opaque black with creamy tan head & outstanding lacing. Dark-chocolate nose & taste; add maple & smoky umami flavors. It is rich with excellent mouthfeel. Andy T. trying a classic from The Mitten.

Glider så let og elegant ned. En kraftig og fyldig sødme, blød kaffe uden bitterheden. (Under det hele er den boozy på den fede måde)!

Wow. Yeah, better than most things I remember from 2017. Worth finding, even in a crowded multi-entertainment venue with children. Michigan born & raised so happy to find Michigan brewed and aged.

The Flood Family 10 Stouts & Ales of Christmas (2023) #9: Old Skool style stout, but thick mouthfeel and maple only evident by its sweetness.

Six years old and absolutely wonderful. Coffee notes dropped out. All sweetness and body.
