Nice, but there is an aftertaste that is off putting. The nose is fudge. Some chocolate and coffee on the tongue.

I tend to find founders a bit over rated but the Mackinaw Fudge is definitely an exception. Rich, fudgey and complex. Great on the nose and aftertaste.

This had a pretty bitter dark chocolate/coffee finish in my opinion. I didn't get much maple and was expecting something a touch sweeter with fudge in the name. Still good.

I was expecting overly sweet, because of the maple and fudge printed on the label, but this KBS is nicely balanced and the bourbon doesn't over power the stout.

Maple is a little overpowering. Strong, sweet fudge on the nose but subtle on the palate. Not remotely boozy. Overrated just like the KBS in my opinion but still well done.

Coffee, maple and fudge on the nose and in the tasting notes. Also some decent barrel characteristics as well. Unfortunately it has the body of a Dr Pepper and some acidity on the finish. While it was good and I would drink it again I wouldn’t seek it out

Very subtle coffee flavor on the tip of the tongue followed by dark chocolate, bitter bitterness. Smooth maple syrup finish. I actually like the order of flavors; each stand out distinctly.

Great nose, nice chocolate. Very subtle maple, nothing near as sweet or full as CBS, but a touch sweeter than the base.
