Nez bien choco en poudre, café et bourbon. En bouche c’est full choco/fudge, puis légère amertume malt calciné. Le bourbon est très/trop discret. C’est assez « sec » et « aqueux » vu la recette. Boozy également. Cool mais vite écoeurant (choco à fond).

Feared this would be pastry’ish; nope. Creamy roasty dry bitter coffee, dark chocs, fudgy vanilla maple sweetness but not overpowering, soft BBA hug. Got an Amaretto like flashback. Balanced, very enjoyable. 👍

Bottled 14 months ago. Smooth. Rich. Chocolate (fudgy). With barrel accents and finish. The nose is pure fudge. Black as night. Liquid bourbon fudge. Very rich. Coffee is buried in there but you can find it.

Mostly sweet; lactose, butter and a hint of caramel. Coffee and bitterish aftertaste with some bourbon in the background. Deep roasty. Very good.

Loads of fudge goodness still present, huge barrel aromas and not a hint of booze. Definitely held up well!

I really like these as they are fudge packers! Really rich and yummy but can only drink a few. Thick mouthfeel!
