Old School (2013) Miller

Staying with Barleywines today, had to dig to the very back of the beer cave to find this one. Was bottled in 2012? Guess it’s close to Old School 2013?? Any who, it is smooth, slightly astringent, but still a slightly sweet malty and heavy stone fruit.

Hoo wee, that’s a good one. Semi sweet, full bodied and flavorful. The citrus, vanilla and spices are upfront and just right. Leather fruit and cherries on the finish. Better go check to make sure the other bottles are safe in the frig. 🍺🤣🍺🤣🍺🤣🍺

Floral but with a moist earthy root and leaf tartness. The taste and smell of picking up green apples in the woods on an autumn day. Snails?? Crisp but effervescent, dry but full of flavor. A wonderful Geuze Lambic on a hot late summer day. Delicious!!!

Busy morning, fixed two leaking outdoor faucets then changed the oil in by wife’s car and my truck. Time for a break. A wonderful Gueuze Lambic, very subdued on the funkiness but still an oak and crisp apple tartness. Very refreshing!!!

A very gentle, mild framboise lambic brewed with actual raspberries. Too much funkiness or twang would have easily overpowered the lightness of the berries. A very refreshing summer ale!!!
