I don’t know how I haven’t checked this in before- the nose is pure chocolate and the taste is fudge with that maple Finish. I was so happy to have found this after finishing my last bottle. Cheers to making the next three last

Flavors have all blended well, the booze has mellowed and the character is defined after a little time in the cellar. It’s about as good as it’s gonna get.

Sweet and strong. The maple is not overpowering, which is good. Just enough.

Sista ölen i Norrlanda. Då vill det till att det är en rejäl sådan. Fantastisk imperial stout som alltid när det är Founders som står för gästabudet. Choklad, sirap och kaffe i perfekt harmoni. En utomordentligt värdig avskedsöl.

After aging an extra 2 years in my cellar, the richness of the chocolate and sweetness of the maple seem richer than I imagine this tasted fresh. Sometimes waiting really is worth it. Delicious!
