Røsta malt, kaffe, karamell, sjokolade. Smooth, men mangler en touch av kompleksitet.

Excellent Imperial Stout. Thick and creamy with rich roasty coffee flavours with some decent chocolate and a little sweet maple. Can't really taste the barrel-aging, but really smooth stuff

Nice night for an imperial stout. Couple left so might as well make room for this year’s release. The only kbs that’s still legit imo.

Almost 2 years since bottled. Smells like if Raisinets were made with fudge . Pours thick and heavy. Flavors are heavy fudge, raisin, chocolate & bourbon. Well balanced. Smooth. Heavy chocolate as it warms. Small amounts of alcohol heat. Really good now.

11% BBA imperial stout with chocolate, coffee, maple syrup. 2nd checkin. Actually better than first time; less sweet, more versatile. 2 yrs ageing has done it well. Still, f#ck Founders!

Payed for 2 yrs-bitterness of coffee mellows with dark chocolate notes reverberating on the finish.. Very creamy mouthfeel, ah now there is malted cocoa flying through the air-let this brew lay a few years-amazing!!

Taste testing after 2 years this still holds up. Drinking next to the 2022 in a taste test. 5 stars keeping bringing this back.
