This is arguably one of my very favorite beers. I love both KBS and CBS, and this variant of KBS is simply stellar. Big chocolate richness, maple, roasty cocoa and coffee, and a perfect amount of booziness.

Pretty much exactly as I remember. Lots of chocolate & fudge (chocolate milk), maple in the background, light coffee, hint of bourbon (& rye?). Great flavor but thin.

Some time in the ‘cellar’ (more like the cabinet in the back of my garage) has actually mellowed this beer out somewhat. Much more balanced now.

Just about a year on this bottle and I still love this variant. So much coffee and chocolate. The barrel and maple are really subtle at this point

1963 was a very good year, however, Founders 2020 KBS is the next best thing

Stout Sunday in full effect… lots of chocolate and nice barrel. Very slight maple. Holding up well 4.35

LCI; Doften! Fudge och Bourbon, med en gång! Smaken lika så. Mycket fatsmak, en hel del fudge och hintar av mörk choklad. Lönnsirapen gör sig också påmind. Smakar en del alkohol, men det tar verkligen inte över. Riktigt fin!

Neus: koffie, chocolade en fudge. Smaak: caramelfudge en espresso. Warme boozy nasmaak.
