Frootwood Mothership Series 15

Fruit Beer

We took a crisp, light-bodied cherry ale and hid it away in oak barrels that have held both bourbon and maple syrup. After a lengthy stint, it emerged a changed beer, blanketed in notes of warm vanilla and earthy sweetness. The wood proves itself the star of this beer, adding depth and taming the tart cherry while the maple imposes a velvety texture that lingers for not a moment too long

Tastes like top shelf cough syrup, I can’t tell if I actually enjoy this or the memory of this. Last time I had frootwood I was getting drunk in my ex’s bed while she was at work and I was playing xbox

Founders Advent Calendar 2021 Day 17. Had to postpone this one since Nate and Shannon abandoned me for the weekend. Very light cherry. Lots of dry oak and syrup. Almost medicinal. Clean. Just not what I’m feeling.

You know, this isn’t my favorite thing in the world. But they are spot on about the tasting notes.

Sweet nose. Tart cherry forward. Sweet, vanilla, cherry finish. Light BA notes. Good BA fruit beer
