I have looked forward to this annually for quite a while now but this was just not up to the previous standard... Talk to your coffee people.

It's alright. I don't hate it, but, I'll never buy it again. I don't understand the hype.

Prefer CBS and BS over KBS. Dry and bitter medium roasted coffee beans. Cocoa powder, mild unripe green peppers and a surprisingly thin body. CBS is still king.

Todella kahvinen, suklaasta pieni katkeruus myös. Pullossa mainostetaan silkkiseksi, mutta kyllä tää katkeruus on sen verran hurjaa ettei kovinkaan smoothilta tunnu. Suutuntumakaan ei kovin paksulta vaikuta. Ihan ok.

Strong yet smooth, with a pleasant roasted coffee taste and notes of dark chocolate.

Strong, but after two years in the cellar, it has mellowed out nicely. The bourbon taste and roastiness has faded a bit, however the notes of coffee and dark chocolate are deeper and more complex.

This once legendary, world-class rated beer has become so mediocre. Making it a year-round beer instead of an annual release (because profit) has had a significant negative impact. Nice job Founders! 👎🏻

After bourbon...I like stout. And this is a lovely one. Would take a little bottle aging and it would be very good. High alcohol liquorice instantly, mellows to chocolate, not tasting the coffee.... Will be buying more.

Sunday dinner , I prefer by barrel beers to be a lot more bourbon-y then this.

This grew on me. Nice dark chocolate bourbon beer. Can't believe that they served me a 12% in a tall.
