Похоже, что это чекин для всеобщего порицания. Доминирующая жжёнка, кофе, очень далёкая оттеночная бочка и всё. Пустота и разочарование.

I have looked forward to this annually for quite a while now but this was just not up to the previous standard... Talk to your coffee people.

Prefer CBS and BS over KBS. Dry and bitter medium roasted coffee beans. Cocoa powder, mild unripe green peppers and a surprisingly thin body. CBS is still king.

Todella kahvinen, suklaasta pieni katkeruus myös. Pullossa mainostetaan silkkiseksi, mutta kyllä tää katkeruus on sen verran hurjaa ettei kovinkaan smoothilta tunnu. Suutuntumakaan ei kovin paksulta vaikuta. Ihan ok.

Strong yet smooth, with a pleasant roasted coffee taste and notes of dark chocolate.

Strong, but after two years in the cellar, it has mellowed out nicely. The bourbon taste and roastiness has faded a bit, however the notes of coffee and dark chocolate are deeper and more complex.

This once legendary, world-class rated beer has become so mediocre. Making it a year-round beer instead of an annual release (because profit) has had a significant negative impact. Nice job Founders! 👎🏻

Not usually a fan of the coffee flavored beers, but the addition of chocolate mellows it nicely. Fairly good!

Not as good as it used to be. Kinda all over the place. Advent calendar beer number 9.

Interesting to evaluate this and see how rough it is. The barrel-aging leads to bitter artifacts in the beer and no improvements to the bases. Chocolate is unavailable on the tongue. The end result is rough bitterness lacking in grace.

I haven’t enjoyed this year’s vintage. It is rough with coffee and roast, without much else to recommend it. A nice with of barrel on the nose and on the opening of the tongue. A little weight to it, which is good. A little sweetness. Then rough bitter.

The 2018 version I gave 🌟 🌟 🌟 . I can't do that again - it just isn't enjoyable. I think this was a First 6 draft. Ouch.
