Another one that came from Brusin’ Ales, way back when. Not very subtle, tons of coffee with some maple syrup notes

The maple flavor is good, but the coffee flavor has gone putrid.

This has really mellowed out and made it smooth and creamy. Hints of nuttiness and chocolate

Smooth, rich, tasty. Nice maple hints, but not as strong as I suspected. Founders makes really good stouts, hands down.

Shared bottle. Looks a bit oily, but otherwise what you expect. Very little oxidation for a 5 year old bottling and quite smooth. Drink now if you're still holding one.

A heavy, decadent dessert. Definitely sweet, but it's a natural sweetness. Chocolate at front then mellows into lingering coffee and caramel. Only the tiniest hint of anything bitter, this is more fudge than brownie

So funny - tasting it on its own after so many later day maple infused stouts, this tastes so well balanced, just not extraordinary. Better than the last time i had it.

Holding up but taste buds have changed. It was no longer a whale in 2018 and certainly not in 2020. A solid brew that paved the way for what we are enjoying today.

Nästan 2 år gammal flaska. Doft av lönnsirap, bourbon och kaffe. Fyllig munkänsla. Ganska söt smak med inslag av lönnsirap och bourbon. Även söt eftersmak där lönnsirap och bourbon är mest framträdande.

Booze and Molasses. Maple syrup, definitely. Smooth enough, I suppose, but really sweet. Liked that CA better.
