2018, bitch! I don't know why we decided to drink this tonight. Scratch that, I do. We were worried it was gonna go the wrong direction. 5 years...FIVE YEARS...later, it's so good.

#1500 different beers and couldn't be more happy with this one. It's all the things I love about a stout and best of all, not overly sweet. Strong but not too boozy. Thanks for the share Jeff! This was a gem!

Big boy bottle. Bumped up to 5 since this aged so well. All flavors blending well. Coffee maple chocolate with mellow boozy barrel finish. So smooth.

Simply amazing, just like my wife of 28 years! I've been saving this one (CBS is possibly my favorite of all time) for a special occasion and my 28th anniversary seemed like just the one. I love this beer, but I love my wife more!

The maple syrupyness is still there, buts it's aged and mellowed out oh so well. Slight coffee. Perhaps also a hint of soy-like umami? No hint of the very high ABV. Incredible stuff.

The roasted malt flavor is coming in strong after 5 years. Still great stuff.

Aged for 5 years. WONDERFUL! Chocolate throughout, so smooth and slightly coffee/sweet profile.

Five years old, very mellow drinks more like a fine port. No taste of alcohol whatsoever. Absolutely delicious!
