Did a vertical of this and the 17'. I think 3 years is optimal time for aging. Thanks to Jamie S. for sharing this with me. The flavors have dissipated slightly, but the maple is still very pronounced in this. I'm going to miss this 🍺!

Held up well. Good carbonation. Rich chocolatey maple coffee bourbon hinted stout. Good viscosity. Very Happy Thanksgiving!

Haven't cracked open this year's version for 3 years. Wow it's been aging fantastic. Still getting the coffee/chocolate properties with light bourbon. It's not too hot yet so the alcohol isn't overpowering things yet. Rich mouthfeel and slightly sticky.

It aged well. The maple and sweetness are pretty much gone but the barrel is definitely there! Smooth.

Deep malt and black strap molasses in the nose. Sweet, deep molasses, port wine, umami and vanilla notes. This one is for the record book. Spectacular.

Wow. Maple syrupy bourbon mixes with coffee and chocolate notes...in stout form. This is one intoxicating brew.

On tap and for $8?….don’t mind if I do. Less chat but not diacetyl notes from others I had. So well balanced, yet complex. Just a fantastic beer.
