No Canadian Mountie on the horse in 2018. This has been in the beer fridge a while. Still delicious and dangerous.

Very smooth. Maple is now undetectable. Wish Founders would resurrect this beer.

From Friday. Wow. I honestly didn’t have high expectations after cracking the 2017 a few weeks ago, but this aged really well. Very mild oxidation. Smooth milk chocolate and mild maple. Very impressive.

From yesterday. I'm pretty sure it was the '19 vintage. Still quite good, but I don't taste much coffee.

Not overly sweet, very smooth, toasty, some mapleness. Very good.

Aged 4 years. Complex nose of maple, burbon and coffee. Pours ebony black with a foamy cafe au lait. Flavors are subdued from the aging. Sweet burbon forward with Maple thru the middle. The heat from the ABV comes late. Smooth creamy mouthfeel.

Pho, doet na 5 jaar nog precies wat ‘ie beloofd; dikke brokken chocolade vermengd met koffiebonen geweekt in een vat bourbon, en dat geheel overgoten met bourbon. Net zoals je eerste liefde, ze blijft een speciaal plekje houden in je hartje.
