Very nice still. This bottle has been saved for a few years. It's less boozy and more smooth but the maple is more muted

Maple is subtle. Very Barrely. Flavors have mellowed but blend well

Well worth the wait. Very sweet and syrupy. Big hits of chocolate with a bit of nuttiness. Vanilla and woody. Thick ish mouthfeel that has quite a subtly fizz carbonation followed by a sweet dessert coffee with more vanilla. Leaves a bitter cocoa/coffee.

Split 2018 and 2017 - both delicious - maple, coffee, chocolate on slightly boozy sweet bourbon backing.

Har før givet den 5/5 på fad. Måske jeg også var lidt fuld. Jeg er stadig begejstret, og to år på flaske klæder den bestemt også. Den er allerede blevet en smule portvinsagtig, og ahornsirupfadene smages tydeligt.

Aus nem Kopenhagener-Tante-Emma-Eckladen mitgehen lassen. Night Cap. Im direkten Vergleich sehr ähnlich zum KBS mit etwas mehr Süße vom Ahornsirup. Diese rundet das Bier super gut ab. Richtig schöne Mischung aus Fassreifung, Süße und Röstgrad der Malze.

Oot and aboot with Robin Sparkles & Christoph S. :D Spaß beiseite, das CBS ist wie das KBS einfach nur sexy. Duftet an sich gleich, nur ist es hier etwas süßer. An sich riecht man den Ahornsirup nicht so sehr. Im Geschmack dann eher. Sehr geil, wirklic! h

Paar jaartjes laten liggen, is voor m'n gevoel wat zachter geworden, chocola en noten komen meer naar voren, barrel iets meer naar de achtergrond. Nog steeds heerlijk! Gelukkig staat er nog 1😋

Aged well. Imperial Stout brewed with a blend of coffee ☕️ and imported chocolates 🍫 , then aged in spent bourbon 🥃 barrels that have most recently been aging pure maple 🍁 syrup.
