Smooth, rich, tasty. Nice maple hints, but not as strong as I suspected. Founders makes really good stouts, hands down.

Shared bottle. Looks a bit oily, but otherwise what you expect. Very little oxidation for a 5 year old bottling and quite smooth. Drink now if you're still holding one.

A heavy, decadent dessert. Definitely sweet, but it's a natural sweetness. Chocolate at front then mellows into lingering coffee and caramel. Only the tiniest hint of anything bitter, this is more fudge than brownie

Sweet maple dominates the flavor coffee and chocolate bringing the back palate. Very smooth.

First time having a CBS. This is decently balanced of maple syrup, coffee and bourbon. Probably will not purchase again though.

Found this in the back of my beer cooler. A bit thick but still pretty good.

I think they pulled this out of the back at Total Wine a couple years ago, and then has been sitting in the basement for over a year. Quasi cheating as never noted the vintage before.
