I would leave the vanilla addition out, because the barrel aging will give that naturally. I am enjoying the maple syrup sweetness. It’s just on the right side of not too sweet.

Unimpressed. Tasted like a syrupy barleywine. Lazy effort.

Woo! A heavy, sweet, alcoholic taste. First time in a long time that I got chills all the way through on first taste.

The Robust Porter base is just that, robust with a bit of lingering bitterness. The adjuncts, maple and vanilla, seem a bit forced and end with a tinny finish. Their “barrel” series has definitely produced better.

Maple definitely comes through; not well-integrated.

Artificial sweetness, thin, overly carbonated. The best days of Founders beers are long gone.

Immediate plumb, not too sweet, but something medicinal on the back end that isn't pleasant. Bourbon flavor is muddled. Not great.

Thin, watery roasty and coffee driven porter with a shitload of lovely maple. Would have held up significantly better as a more full bodied stout, as the components are there.

De vanille en maple syrup komen naar mijn idee erg maar boven! Prima biertje!

Reminds me a bit of a less boozy DKML. It’s not bad just not that great.

Previous check-in might've been slightly generous. It's just ok... should've just bought one. But not letting this second one go to waste.

I usually don’t like barrel aged beers but this one isn’t bad

I had high expectations and was very much let down. I got the Robust porter, but some odd flavors after that. While it smelled vanilla and maple like I got no taste of it unfortunately. Founders Barrel series I look forward to Imho this missed the Mark
