Birra di grande complessità. Al naso esce subito, prepotente, il passaggio in botti di bourbon. Poi sembra un dolce al cioccolato, con sciroppo d'acero, vaniglia, caffe, che in bocca esce ancora meglio. Estremamente facile da bere nonostante la gradazione

Elegante sinergia tra vaniglia e sciroppo d'acero. Esteri come cioccolato, liquirizia e prugna ampliano i sentori. Grande pulizia e delicatezza. Richiami al torrefatto con cioccolato scortato da sciroppo d'acero, poi liquirizia e vaniglia. Sorso morbido.

This beer aged so incredibly well. Smooth, vanilla, maple sweetness, and some bourbon notes that balance so perfectly with the vanilla and maple. Hope Founders retains the quality of the January 2021 batch in future releases. Aged 22 months

De vanille en de maple komen allebei duidelijk naar voren. De barrel had van mij iets sterker gemogen.
