Vincent, the Mini-Panther, says that this Imperial Robust Porter smells like maple syrup, bourbon and vanilla... Altho it's BBA, it's not overly boozy whatsoever. Bottled on January 28th, fresh & flavourful, I really like this.

Very dark. Very flavorful. Excellent. Best Founders I've tried yet.

Mixing adjuncts typically reserved for stouts, this held its own. A good flavor profile, but it not being a stout hurt it overall. A solid 4, but it could’ve been much better.

A really smooth semi-sweet bourbon barrel aged beer. Softer than most thus why they have CUB in the name I guess. Yet, the taste is very rewarding. Glad the maple syrup doesn't take it over. 🐆 Founder's beers are so reliably good!

Barrel aged wonderfully. The vanilla and maple come through very well while making sure the porter is the dominant flavor. Very well done

This is good. Surprisingly fly tame with the sweetness... richer than most porters.

It tastes heavily like bourbon, but I was expecting more sweetness on the after notes. It’s not as bitter as other barrels aged stouts, and goes down easily. Perhaps, too easily.

I wish they would make this one without the bourbon barrel.
