Not too bad. I was expecting more. A little messy. Too boozy and a fan of sweet side. Vanilla is very present while the maple syrup takes the backseat. Barrel provides booziness but dryness and woodiness. We shall see how this one ages. Thanks Sam H.

Nice Barrel aged Porter with vanilla and maple syrup and aged on Bourbon barrels. Starts chocolatey with a sweet vanilla taste and slightly bitter but Maple finish. The pride of Grand Rapids Michigan. Big 9.2% ABV to get your Panther going

Smooth, creamy, and the first thing I tasted was vanilla & maple! Spot on!

Cocoa and marshmallow notes are strong on the nose. A bit of a boozy note too. Very sweet on the palate with a syrupy texture. Lots of dark chocolate and vanilla, the latter tasting somewhat artificial.

A dark brown pour that yields a creamy tan foam cap. Smells like vanilla extract with some burnt brown sugar. The taste is quite sweet with vanilla front and center. A hint of bourbon, brown sugar followed by an oakey finish. Pretty darn smooth for 9.2%.

Oppermachtig! Van aanzet tot afdronk een meesterwerk. Zoetsige moutige vanille tonen die toch keihard aankomen in een duistere porter zoals je hem echt wil hebben. Founders heeft toch echt Pohjala ingehaald als mijn favo brewers.
