Not too bad. I mostly get vanilla extract with barrel taste. You get some maple as it warms up.

Big sweetness upfront from the maple and vanilla. A bit boozy. As it warms hints of a nutty roasted porter starts to comes out (thank goodness). Rich with slight bitterness on the finish. After warming it mellows out. Nice!

Mostly vanilla. The barrel adds support, which is nice but strange it isn't the primary flavor

Subtle barrel with vanilla & maple in control in this “seemingly” session friendly 9.2%er. Thanks Chad!!

This is what I do beer for. Although I think it’s a beer you only have one of.

Tastes like a cream soda. Excellent blending of the flavors, nothing overpowers the others.

Omg.... My new favorite. The smoothness with the subtle hint of the bourbon barrel aging process. Kabomb...

Ah yes, a vintage of a beer that was just released. Maple and oak are obvious on the nose, and the sweetness jumps out. Barrel aged maple syrup is the first flavor I get, then the smoky porter takes over for the finish. Would benefit from longer aging.
