Another winner in the barrel series. Pours a nice head with a boozy aroma and a distinctly lighter mouthfeel than the stouts.

Oh yeah. Sooooooo good. Let it warm up a little to be able to taste all the flavors. Not too boozy. Rich, thanks for bringing a couple of these bad boys up. Did get you a 4 pack at Hy-Vee for your next road trip up to Lincoln. ๐

Dense and aromatic with an intense nose of chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and sweet candy sugar. The maple is a dominant flavor, and it is instantly one of my favorite Founders brews to-date. All the rich complexity of CBS in a more earthy, smoky porter.

Rich and viscous porter. Pour is thick, black midnight. Maple syrup teams with vanilla extract for a medium sweetness. Get a bit of the barrel on the finish, but itโs not overpowering.

The maple syrup is strong in the taste with the roast and chocolate. The vanilla and bourbon and in the background in support.
