The aroma is coffee, chocolate, some nutty note and quite roasty, but the taste is very dominated by coffee and roasted malts. You really have to love coffee for this one.

At 8.3% this one isn't all that high on alcohol compared to some others. Definitely breakfast-like beer with the coffee, oatmeal and chocolate in here.

Ontbijtje voor het slapen gaan. Dikke vette prima, chocolade, koffie en aangename bitters.

Coffee, dry, light chocolate flavor, alcohol is showing through strong. If aged would be a lot smoother.

Strong metallic aroma. Present in the flavor until I let it warm and swirled it a bit. Very boozy with bitter cocoa and coffee. Great flavor but loses points for the metallic aroma. 38/50

Lost all of any sweet cocoa fudge edge it used to have, straight up bitter roasty coffee, light roasty chocolate, better odes to coffee out there but not for 2 fiddy(!), a great beer that doesn't rely on the pastry.

Eerst voornamelijk koffie, daarna komt de chocola door en het eindigt een beetje spicy.
