Thick as a milkshake and (almost) a strong as a wine, this beer is a glass of controlled chaos. This thing has it all: smoke, caramel, roasted malts, and a sweet finish. This is something you plan on having, you don’t randomly grab it.

Advent Beer #8: I think the “wee” should be in quotes. Boozy, sweet, malty and a sipper indeed. Great beer for a cold and rainy night.

Yew! When is a “wee heavy” no longer “wee”? There’s already lots of malty and earthy complexity in the beer itself and then the barrel aging takes it to another level! Perfect night for it too! Thanks Dan! 🎄🍻

Seriously malty and the boozy side is very prevalent. Lots of wood and earth character …. The barrel did its work:) A nice sipper on a winters night. Cheers!

Сложные у меня отношения и с этим стилем, и пивоварней. Очень крепко, пьётся как настоящий скотч, а бурбон агрессивный, кусачий - сидишь, ждёшь, когда он хоть чуть смягчится.
