Barleywine in body, but with an evil soul. Pour is dark mahogany brown. Nose is strong booze and heavy caramel. Complex tastes, mostly malt but with some peat, blackstrap molasses, and a heavy-handed bitterness from start to finish. An enemy indeed!

Not near as thick as most barleywine's I've tried in the past. For me that's a plus. Very malty with a strong biter after bite. Nothing special about this one to me. Buy a single, if you can.

WTF is this? The old oxidized cardboard bottle I had of 11 was better than this.

Wasn't able to pick up anything flavor wise maybe to me but it was a pleasant pour

Not bad but not exactly great? It's a hoppy malt mixture but missing that caramel smooth barley wine finesse

Smooth, 11.2%, Barleywine. Thick mouthfeel, substantial head, and a full body. Malty with some ABV noticeable.

Great barely wine. One of the best that I’ve had. Hides the 11% really well.

It has ALL the flavors... and smells like weed. Like this a lot, and not at a ridiculous price.

Different from other Barleywines I have had. Not sure, flavors melt together. A little hops, a little malt.
