I really like this beer. Didn’t get a lot of the happiness but did get a lot of the roasty sweetness

This is not good. Love ba barleywines and this one is a far cry from the good ones. Rubo hates ba bws.

Doesn't really come across as a BW. More like a porter or soft stout.

A dark barleywine that is a little more bitter than expected.

Thanks Mike B. I may have given this enough time to settle. Definitely has the hops, but not nearly as sweet as described. I'd bet it's better in 6months

Dark fruit, leather, demerara, and a huge load of hop value. Great one. Thx Martin S.

Big old school BW. Sweet caramel, tons of hop bitterness, and some alcohol heat.

I bought this a while back, but am just trying it now -- I agreed with *all* of the suggested flavor profile options, which is rare -- young enough that the hops are still strong -- pretty sure I bought more bottles, which I should compare to Bigfoot

This little effer. I swear to all that is holy and your cousin I will kick it’s ass if I ever see it round my backdoor. Hoppy, pugnacious and bold, you either love him or pay someone to kill him.

Not quite a righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Instead a welcome return of a long lost relic and an excuse to quote the movie Snatch.
