What the flip is going on in this one? Hoppy, roasty, boozy. Fun and not bad but not really for me

IMHO...Nemesis is a slightly hoppier version of their Underground Mtn Brown ale...it's a stretch to say it's a barley-w I

Slight grapefruit. As it warms, I get more dark malts too. Weird taste. Floral, grapefruit, transitions into a hop bitterness. It may be too cold. As it warmed it got more IPA like. Not bad.

Is okay. Not what I consider a Barleywine, but they are the beer experts.

Somewhat boozy, very malty, almost a chocolate note. Not overly hoppy. Pretty decent.

Reminiscing on old school Founders at the bottle shop. Barleywine with a mahogany hue, sweet maltiness, and plenty of flavors (and ABVs). Keep your friends close and your Nemesis closer.

Quite dark for barleywine — A: deep profile some roast/smoke semi-rich malt faint plum. F: hefty barleywine loaded w/ bitter hops roasty semi-rich malt profile subtle woodsy tobacco smoke-esque some earthy spicy faint tobacco mint.
