Still plenty of dark chocolate and easy milk chocolate too, don't think candy think chocolatey brown ale late acidity then back to dark chocolate. Back if the fridge find bottles 12/2/19. Pre-Covid 19 😃

The smell of hazel but is better than the beer from Listermans. But the beer drinks thin even though the nose overpowers the taste.

Full bodied and extremely smooth feel. Obvious hazelnut all over the flavors, coffee grounds, and sweet notes of vanilla. Low bitterness, fairly warming towards the finish.

12 oz bottle from earlier today (can’t drink coffee beers too late or more than 1/day!). Appropriate for a BA brown ale with decently-balanced bourbon and light nutty notes. I’m spoiled by BA stouts, so this didn’t satisfy, but it was good for the style!

Beautiful hazelnut aroma, even more so is the taste of hazelnut and coffee.
