Roasty barleywine. The roast malts are big. Slow sipper.

As a barleywine lover I can say that I have never tasted such a roasty version. As it warmed the complexity really shined.

Too Boozy and Woody for my liking. Taste is subjective though...I always recommend to try still.

Bitter and malty but not as bitter as the IBU suggests.

I'm beginning to understand why Chuck loves Barley Wines so much. They've nearly won me over too.

Pours black like a stout. Malty with a big bitter hops presence. Smooth and satisfying. This ain’t soul food. It’s soul beer.

Meh kinda ashy no floral notes but heavy if you like that 🍺🍺

3.85 - good flavor but those roasted malts were a bit strong

Not your typical sweet Barleywine. Hops are bold and make you think of something different.

With the roasted malts I get more of a black ipa. Either way very well done. Seek. Find. Buy. Drink. Enjoy. You’re welcome

Not smooth. Super bitter. Needs age to balance the booze n sweet n bitter

As a barleywine, like a 3. Maybe. As a beer, maybe a 3.6 or so.

Not a huge barley wine fan but this is quite good. A tab too acidic but good.

It's a Barleywine. Either you love them or you don't. Not super strong. Kind of roasts, just a weird finish for me. Not bad.

Very earthy flavors. It’s good, not sure I could drink this all of the time though

My expectations were higher. But the beer walk with the dog was splendid.

Sweet and boozy like a barleywine yet hoppy with a quick finish. Certainly an oddball but I'm feeling it.

Tasty barleywine, darker than expected also finishes with an unexpected burst of pine-hops
