Not actually for drinking today but not horrible from the couple tastes I had; turning peppery but was a great base for the BBQ sauce.

17-3, 4yr 4mo o. Complex, dark roast coffee. Notes of creamy chocolate, fiery wood character and bitter vanilla. Dad and I are enjoying! Aging pretty well yet!

At about 4 years old, I'd say this is peaking. Loads of coffee, chocolate and vanilla with a much reduced boozy heat and bourbon hit. It still lets you know it's a big beer, but it's very drinkable now.

This is a legacy rating, not the rating for this cellared version

Still working on the two cases we bought at the LCBO. Think we're down to 6 or 7 bottles now. Still going strong, though more of a rock solid base stout now that most of the adjuncts have faded.

Delicious, but I like the 5 & 6 year old versions better

Similar to 2018, but a little more bitter than 2018. Boozy

I apparently checked one of these in a couple of months ago. Whoops! Ummmm…still delicious!

Better than the last bottle. Still holding strong. #proper

Maybe the smoothest yet but is lacking in wow factor compared to ‘15 and ‘16

Birthday beer from the cellar! Still tastes pretty damned good!

2 of 3. A step up from '16. Less soy sauce, more chocolate & coffee. Up to a 4.25

Found an extra at the back of the fridge! Coffee is pretty much gone. Almost strictly chocolate and bourbon. A little bit of raisin/caramel. Still killer.

Maybe a little past peak, possibly oxidized due to poor storage conditions

Here's to ya G.P good luck! (Only one I had cold) only gets better with age they say!😋

Found this old fella on the shelf, no point waiting any longer. The occasion? I baked cookies. Chocolate and coffee have dropped off. More of just a smooth bourbon barrel imperial stout now. I prefer fresh

Weather’s finally cooled down for a bit so what better way than to solo dome this bad boy? This is what I hoped my first KBS experience had been like. Smooth bourbon & dark chocolate nose with strong coffee & a stronger bourbon bite when drinking. Noice.
