🇺🇸 Another day in paradise. Not really, but this makes you stronger… for a little while anyway… nevertheless an amazing beer. If I need to pick one, it’s KBS. Back in 2015 this changed my life. Irreversibly. Thank you Founders for that! ❤️

Last one from the stash. Oh my, this one aged well! Half year ago I was sure these wouldn’t age well anymore but boy I was wrong. This is damn good now and of course I do have any left anymore. 🤣 Bottled 12/05/2016

Got the final half glass of the final keg. Still a pretty awesome stout and the bartender wasn't sure how they had gotten hold of two kegs of this one.

Still has very good carbonation but foam decreases rapidly, almost no lacing, medium to full body, chocolate and coffee, bourbon and barrel are a faint memory.

Middle… coffee chocolate stouts the way they used to be were pretty crushable despite the high ABVs

One of my favorite coffee brews with firm coffee and barrel well balanced. Nicely boozy with sweet caramel undercurrents, nearly a peppermint nuance. Rich but relatively easy drinking (says 10.9% on the menu here). So smooth but tons of personality. 4.6

Macro or not (& despite recent news articles) this beer is stupid. Nose is rich, oily bourbon vanillins. Praline chocolate sweetness to accompany. Piping hot cafetière coffee with a magnificent bourbon bite to it. Depth is unrivalled. Superb beer. Mental

Detta er noe av det beste som er av oppdrive av I denne kategorien altså. Trenger ikke stappe de fulle av caramel, fudge eller marshmallows for å lage en fantastisk stout!!
