From last night. Lots of ginger in the nose. Too much rum when drinking. Kind of a mess, actually. One could peddle this as snake oil.

I'm liking this more than most. The golden strong ale is hidden behind the ginger and guava. Rum barrel aging could use some mellowing out. Think ginger ale with a shot of Don Q 151 rum. All that said, I like it.

Wow! Strong up front. Tons of agave taste. Sweet finish. A real treat

Enjoyed for our 9th wedding anniversary. Such an odd beer, but we both loved it!

Whoa. The aroma on this is great. Like a sweet guava ginger ale. Sweet, fruity, and just a hint of ginger. The flavor is more rum dominated. The spice of the ginger comes through and the barrel is a little more potent than I’d like to see for this

Strong delightful ginger and guava, and the rum barrel comes thru like a freight train! Holy Wah!

Strong guava nose. Guava tastrw and then a solid spicy ginger after taste. I normally don't like sweet beers but this one is damn solid. I hate that it's 20 bucks a bomber.

Ginger Smiles is in production and is sexy as hell. Looking down the top of this curvy lady feels liberating. A little sharp to start but utterly fascinating as you breathe her in.

I can’t rate this as a Golden Ale. It’s closer to a Moscow Mule. The aroma is flowery ginger. And there’s a good bit of ginger heat on the palate. But I also get the rum and some fruitiness from the guava. Absolutely uniquely wonderful.

Lots of ginger spice. Interesting and something different.

Oh goodness me… booze all the way with this on!! Spiced, strong rum with subtle guava and yeah it’ll put you to bed for sure 😂 thx for this Jon B.

The best beer I have tried since Curmudgeon. So sweet up front like toffee mixed with guava. The ginger kicks in shortly after with mild heat and some boozyness. The finish reveals the barrel aging and finally lingering rum notes.

This is a prime example of “just because you can doesn’t mean you should”
