Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Boozey, cherry, hint of orange, heavy Bourbon barrel note but balanced.

I like it. Not too sweet. Not too boozy. The cherry is weird but in a good way. I’m getting more to do further analysis. #BOTM club, thanks Rob K.

Very fruity but not too sickly. Be a great beer to have with Thanksgiving Turkey as it has some lovely cherry and citrus notes that remind me of cranberry orange sauce.

This is what a Belgian quad would taste like if it were made without Belgian yeast and in America. Brilliant!

Strong, lots of sweet flavors reminiscent of an old fashioned. Orange, cherry, malt, and level booziness

Smooth for the abv. Sweet, get a lot of orange peel and zest. Oddly reminds me of bubblegum, of all things. Definitely a sipper. Very unique beer, can’t say I’ve had something that has tasted like this.

This isn’t terrible, but why waste bourbon barrel aging on a cocktail inspired beer.

Sorry for no pic, but I'm locked out of my phone app! This ale is odd but very interesting! Points for creativity.

Well that is totally different. That grew on me though. Lied it over all in the end. Definitely get the cocktail.

This isnt a brown ale. This is exactly like a cocktail. It’s good but brown ale is misleading.
