Delicious, brown ales aren’t my top style but gotta say Founders brought their A game on this one, excellent !

Decent, but not exactly my thing. Strong maraschino cherry flavor followed by bourbon sweetness. This would have been better if it was less boozy.

Pours light brown. Fair amount of head. Taste is good altho I expected more of a fruity flavor after reading label. Cherry and orange would be the predominant flavor.

I really enjoyed this beer. It was like having a semi-lighter Manhattan in a beer format. Does that sound weird? Maybe but it works! I can't come up with a taste profile other than bourbon in an ale. But it was really good!

Didn’t expect to have these in the same night, much less back to back on a work night but this stuff is delicious. Goodnight. No hint of the 11% considering the close relationship it has to the cocktail.

Last year's bottle. Still pretty delicious with lots of cherry and brown sugar notes. The bourbon barrel aging adds some vanilla and leather notes to the mix. A recent favorite from Founders. Now in the Barrel-Aged series, rather than the Bottle Shop.

Taste of orange peel, cherry syrup, and barrel aged booze. Packs a punch but goes down smooth. For the sophisticated gentleman.

Old Fashioned cocktail attempt in a 11% Imperial Brown Ale. Barrel aged w/aromatics of caramel and vanilla, dried fruit and spice while hints of cherry and bitter orange peel. Different, decent, not familiar with the cocktail. Bottled 7/6/21 🤤👍🏼🍻

Good, very drinkable for 11%, just the flavors have become flat over the last year. Would recommend drinking fresh. Excited to try the 2022 release!!

Bottled: 06/09/22 Taste is identical to an old fashioned. Cherry, Vanilla and bitters combined with the bourbon barrel. Excellent.

Pours dark and thick. Sweet and boozy. Bourbon notes. Orange peel, a little spice and heave malt. Well balanced and really resembles an old fashioned. Great beer.
