Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

not much of a nose on this one tbh. mouthfeel’s smooth with a gentle fizz, some stickiness on the finish. soft vanilla that sharpens to dried fruits, brown sugar, chocolate raisins, orange peel, lingering herbal notes n bourbon. quite unique! 4.10

Delish and not the typical boring Brown ale. Plenty of dark fruit, brown sugar, caramel, oodles of bourbon. Well balanced. I’d drink this all the time

Super unique BA brown ale. The cherry/orange def gave it an old fashion vibe

Nice brown BA aroma. "Special stuff" is in the background. In the flavor, this dpecial stuff - namely first and foremost Triple-Sec-style orange liqueur - dominates. Which is interesting and the point of this beer, but semi-convincing for me. 4.1

Heel veel smaak. Vanille is duidelijk aanwezig en ook sinaasappel-chocolade. Top!

BBA Founders voor m'n collectie šŸ‘ Erg bijzonder, boozy, heel zoet en orange peel is goed te proeven.

Fruity orange peel with light caramel chocolate flavours. Touches of vanilla with a warming bourbon finish. Very smooth for its strength.

Barrel-aged American strong ale - an interesting combination. Very sweet with lots of vanilla, orange and bourbon barrels - like a BA imperial stout, but without the roasted malts and IBU.

Bourbon flavor with some caramel, vanilla, and extra spice. Easy to drink and not overly boozy

Rich, a bit sweet, with a touch of orange. Bourbon barrel comes through…

Backwards bastard with a few tweaks, mainly ginger. Better than expected. I want this in a wheat wine without ginger.
