This supposed Brown Ale breaks a lot of barriers i think. It's got a great complexity coming from the barrel aging. Great citrusy notes to compensate for the sweetness. The rather high alcohol content is in no way overwhelming. Nose is a bit boring though

Drinks like a barleywine, Caramel and toffee with a slight hint of orange on the finish

Very sweet, but not overly boozy. Vanilla and chocolate. Lightly roasty.

No he tomado tantos Old Fashioned como quisiera para encontrarle similitudes, más allá del obvio Bourbon, pero la encontré exquisita, dulce en su punto justo, azúcar negra, frutas..

Boozy goodness in a glass! This is loaded with fruit and vanilla & bourbon yumminess. It's so close to fruit cake in a glass (and I love fruit cake)!

Oscura, barrica, aromática, frutal, cereza, dulce, azúcar morena, algo de bourbon, pero muy delicado, delgada, ligera, baja bien, su 11% de ABV pasa desapercibido. Para tomarla relajado y a sorbos.

Really complex something… a little brown sugar on the back end and the boozy bourbon is there but there is something else I can taste but I can’t figure out what it is… hint of orange zest.

Bourbon & maraschino cherries on the nose. Bourbon forward; brown ale flavors immediately replaced by all the nuances you expect in this brew’s namesake. Delicious!!!

A bit hit to start, but it smooths and mellows as it warms. Excellent base brown ale with good caramel and spice notes. Fiund this in a little Ann Arbor grocery store, so set aside a couple for you, Matt and Jen. I feel it may not be common.
