2000! Very good, but doesn't quite live up to the hype.

Initial nose gives off some worrying raisin whiffs, but this fades away as I acclimatize. Taste is velvety smooth, dominated by a licorice base, laced with chocolate, some roasty notes and finishes with a lingering licorice/anis taste. Smooth AF. Yum.

En dejlig og meget kraftfuld stout, med tydelig smage af chokolade og kaffe, samt en behagelig sprittet eftersmag, hvor man godt kan fornemme at den har lagt på bourbon fade. Det bliver 4.25 med pil ned.

Still an amazing beer! I loved it more in 2017 when it was "fresh" with more of the barrel notes. Now it is very subtile, smooth with a very low and light carbonation. Coffee, leather, vanilla, oak, fudge, dark chocolate, ash and cocoa beans. Love it!
